General Info
"Imagine" was built by Dean Catamarans in Cape Town, South Africa, in July 2000. This 44' cruising catamaran was built to stringent ISO9002 standards, making her a very strong and comfortable boat.
She sailed from Cape Town to Portimao Portugal. This was where she berthed for approximately 10 years. During this time she has lived aboard, lovingly cared for, but seldom sailed. Following this period, she did fairly extensive cruising through the Mediterranean until eventually making Leros Marina, her home, where she has been based for the past four years.
During this period she has been sailed around Turkey and visited many of the Greek Islands. Her large diesel tanks give her an extensive range of around 1,000NM. The engine hours are approximately 1300h, being less than half of what you would expect on a boat half her age
She is well fitted out, the equipment is mostly top brands of the highest quality, and has been updated constantly with modern equipment.
She is registered in the British Virgin Isles and the tax is unpaid.
STOP PRESS - "Imagine" has been stored ashore for the last 18 months in a secure area. She has been fitted with a new custom-made cockpit winter cover to further protect her. She is ready to view and survey before sailing away.
